| Characteristics |
Silicon Metal granule are granular products obtained through processing such as crushing and screening of metallic silicon. They have a melting point of 1410ºC and a boiling point of 2355ºC. It is made by melting quartz and coke in a submerged arc furnace and has a high melting point, high thermal stability and good electrical conductivity. Silicon metal is used as an additive in metallurgy and casting to improve alloy properties.
